Knives are made for and used in many purposes in assorted shapes and of different materials. Uses vary from disremembering deer, disposing of fish, and shaving wood. One of those knife's used most severely and harshly is a diver's knife. Mizutani used the same material for their Acro KNIFE-series scissors, which has the patented high molybdenum cobalt alloy steel excelling in both anticorrosion and anti-abrasion. Same as the diver's knives, these KNIFE scissors have the powerful blades designed for the heavy-duty usage, as well as cutting techniques that may call to sever a big section of hair at once. The MATRIX ZONE (see image on left) was devised for more precise hair cutting jobs, as well as the SPOON handle for the thumb. Mizutani formed a series of serration's in the shape of a crescent along the back of the hair receiving blade, from center to pivot, the idea of which was derived from a long market survey, and the concept of universal designs. More hairdressers can support the scissors easily giving them a firm and stable control. Mizutani has carved a three-dimensional metal block into a spoon-like thumb-side handle. Acro Knife Click again to close Mizutani developed two built-in bearings for the pivot screw system, which are made of a precision-molded highly functional engineered carbon resin material, with low coefficient of friction and high chemical resistance. These are the same materials that are also used in the automotive industry for sliding parts owing to such characteristics as low frictional resistance and the lack of rust as a substitute for metals. These precision-molded parts are used for our Acro-KNIFE-series scissors for a smoothest possible performance of opening and closing the blades. They also devised a semi-flat screw system that has a low-profile nut. The clicking mechanism is adopted to adjust the tension of the blades either by fingers, or with a coin. Although many components are used, the total screw system is designed comparatively thin, and, as coin-adjustable, it is much easier for female hairdressers with long fingernails to control the tension. To make it non skid the Acro knife has a new developed black rubber finger rest. Now you can place your little finger on the finger rest and have the rubber gently grip the little finger securely.
