The Black finish is put on the shear with a process called heat nitrating in which the coating is baked on and coated with titanium so it will never wear off. The XOBK is fitted with an adjustable click tension control to reduce friction. Has leaf spring plate washer, for balance and to smooth out the opening and closing of the shear.
